New Wing Collections in Diablo Immortal

You can get Frost, Mother of Pearl, and Voidrealm in Diablo Immortal by participating in the game's Wing Customization system.

These three additions are wing materials introduced by Blizzard in August 2026 as part of a permanent update to the endgame wing progression system.

New Wing Collections: Frost, Mother of Pearl and Voidrealm in DIablo Immortal

How to Obtain the Wing Materials

To acquire and apply Frost, Mother of Pearl, or Voidrealm to your character's wings, follow these steps:
Reach the Resonance Milestone: You must first unlock base wings by raising your character's Resonance score (achieved by equipping and upgrading Legendary Gems).

Access Wing Customization: Once your wings are unlocked, open your inventory, navigate to your cosmetics/wings section, and select Wing Customization.

Perform Random Refinement: Perform Random Refinement: Use the Wing Refinement feature. These materials are pulled from the active random refinement pool.

Key System Changes to Keep in Mind

To acquire and apply Frost, Mother of Pearl, or Voidrealm to your character's wings, follow these steps:
The Material Rotation: Frost, Mother of Pearl, and Voidrealm have permanently replaced three older wing materials: Mirror Glass, Spectrum Crystal, and Astral Prism. Those older materials can no longer be acquired or locked during customization.

Increased Cap: Alongside the drop of these three new visual styles, the maximum possible Wing Score has been raised to 10,200.

Favorites System: : You can utilize the high-end refinement "Favorites" system to help manage your rolls while searching for these specific new visual elements.

To get the specific wing materials (Frost, Mother of Pearl, and Voidrealm), you must use the Wing Customization currency called Astral Plumes to roll for them.

Unlike regular crafting resources, you do not gather these materials physically from the ground. Instead, they are unlocked dynamically as visual "rolls" using the refinement system.

How to Get and Use Astral Plumes

Purchase via Eternal Orbs: You buy Astral Plumes from the in-game cash shop. Each individual Astral Plume costs 160 Eternal Orbs.

Visit the Wing NPC: Bring your Astral Plumes to the NPC Yaira located in the city of Westmarch.

Perform Wing Restyles: Spend your Astral Plumes to roll for random visual traits across three variables: Shape, Material, and Color.

Unlocking the Materials Pool

When you first start customizing your wings, the material tier is restricted. You have to progress the system to hit the specific material options.
First Roll: Only the Color variation is unlocked.

After 2 Restyles: You unlock VFX (visual effects) variations.

After 9 Restyles: You unlock the Shape and Material pools, allowing Frost, Mother of Pearl, and Voidrealm to finally appear in your active rolling options.

Locking Variables: Once you find a color or shape you love, you can lock that specific aspect and spend your Astral Plumes to strictly reroll the Material slot until Frost, Mother of Pearl, or Voidrealm triggers.

The absolute minimum Resonance required to access these new wing materials and the customization system is 1,000 Resonance.

Once you cross this baseline milestone, the Awakened Wing Customization system unlocks globally for your character.

How Your Resonance Level Affects the Wings

While 1,000 Resonance gets your foot in the door to purchase Astral Plumes and roll for Frost, Mother of Pearl, or Voidrealm, your Resonance tier dictates the scale of the wings you are modifying.
1,000 Resonance: Unlocks the baseline tier of wings ("Tier 1"), allowing you to apply these styles to smaller, basic wings.

2,000 to 5,000+ Resonance: Unlocks significantly larger, multi-tiered wing sizes (Double and Triple wings). Rerolling at higher Resonance tiers lets you display these new materials across a much larger and more visually imposing footprint.

The "Wing Score" Cap: The maximum possible Wing Score has been raised to 10,200 to accommodate high-end players looking to maximize the refinement stats attached to these visual variations.

To unlock the Material pool where Frost, Mother of Pearl, and Voidrealm exist, you need a baseline minimum of 1,440 Eternal Orbs to perform the initial 9 restyles.

Because customization relies on random rolls (RNG), the exact number of Eternal Orbs you will need total depends heavily on your luck during refinement. Your 2,600 Resonance puts you comfortably past the 1,000 baseline requirement, meaning your costs per individual roll remain identical to any other tier.

The Cost Breakdown

Customization costs are calculated based on the price of Astral Plumes (160 Orbs each).
To Unlock the Material Pool (Guaranteed 9 Rerolls): You must complete 9 baseline restyles before Frost, Mother of Pearl, and Voidrealm even enter your active roll options..

9 Restyles ร— 1 Astral Plume = 9 Plumes
9 Plumes ร— 160 Eternal Orbs = 1,440 Orbs minimum baseline

Cost Per Standard Roll Afterward: Once the pool is unlocked, each standard, unrestricted reroll costs 160 Orbs (1 Plume)..

Cost Per Targeted Roll (Using Locks): If you find a color or shape you love and want to freeze it while hunting for your specific material, the cost scales up:
Locking 1 attribute (e.g., locking your Color) = 2 Plumes (320 Orbs per roll).
Locking 2 attributes (e.g., locking Color AND Shape to isolate the Material slot) = 3 Plumes (480 Orbs per roll)

Estimated Total Budgets

Lucky Scenario (~5 extra standard rolls): 2,240 Orbs ($35 - $40 USD equivalent) if you hit your desired material quickly without locking attributes.

Average Scenario (~5 targeted rolls with 1 lock): 3,040 Orbs ($45 - $50 USD equivalent) if you use single-slot locking to narrow down the RNG.

Targeted Hunting Scenario (~5 highly-isolated rolls with 2 locks): 3,840 Orbs ($60+ USD equivalent) if you completely freeze your wing's Shape and Color to force the material slot to change.

[IMPORTANT NOTES!]
You do not get direct raw power damage or direct combat stat increases from rolling specific wing materials like Frost, Mother of Pearl, or Voidrealm.

The Wing Customization system is fundamentally a cosmetic vanity and luxury system. Your main combat power and damage scaling still strictly come from your Resonance score (which boosts your gear's base attributes) and your regular gear stats, not the visual materials applied to the wings.
